2014-04-01Warning regarding Asian Acquisition Oversight CommitteeFinansinspektionen (the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority) has today published this statement in order to warn investors against dealing with unauthorised firms.Asian Acquisition Oversight Committee has not received authorisation from Finansinspektionen and therefore is not entitled to provide financial services in Sweden. Finansinspektionen has not received any notification of cross-border activities from other EEA countries.Reportedly, representatives from Asian Acquisition Oversight Committee contact investors through unsolicited telephone calls and offer to buy their holdings of shares in American OTC-companies. Investors must first pay a fee in advance ("security deposit") to secure the deal.
