ALFA ONE CORPORATION, THE SOUTHWOOD GROUP AND MICRON ASSOCIATES
WARNINGS

The Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) warns the public against the activities of Alfa One Corporation, a company that offers investment services.
Alfa One Corporation is not an authorized investment firm in Belgium. It is therefore not allowed to provide investment services in or from Belgium.
Moreover, according to the information available to the FSMA, the activities proposed could be of a fraudulent nature, i.e. boiler room fraud. More information on this form of fraud is available in the general warning published by the FSMA on 4 May 2016.
The FSMA thus strongly advises against responding to any offer of financial service made by Alfa One Corporation and against transferring money to any account number it might mention.
According to information in the FSMA’s possession, the investors contacted by Alfa One Corporation had previously invested with Micron Associates, a company about which the FSMA issued a warning on 24 April 2012. Specifically, these investors were first of all informed that Micron Associates was said to have been taken over by The Southwood Group. Subsequently, they were informed that The Southwood Group was said to have been taken over by Alfa One Corporation.
Alfa One Corporation uses the website www.alfaonecorporation.com (link is external), the email address info@alfaonecorporation.com (link sends e-mail) and the phone numbers +81 3 4580 1650 and +81 3 4570 4350. It claims to have its registered office in Japan (Shinjuku NS Building, 18F, 2-4-1 Nishishinjuku Shinjuku-ku, 163-0813 Tokyo).
The Southwood Group claimed to have its registered office in Hong Kong at 16 Chater Road and used the website www.thesouthwoodgroup.com (link is external) (offline).
Micron Associates claimed to have it registered office in Spain, Moll de Barcelona s/n, edificio Este 8 planta, WTC Barcelona and used the website www.micronassociates.com (link is external) (offline).
